In addition to the two Son teams, 30 other teams played in Jenter 16 (født 2003). They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Son HK 2 could be found in Group A together with Bækkelagets SK BSK 1, Fjellhammer IL 1 and Bodø Håndballklubb.

Son HK 2 continued to Slutspill A after reaching 2:nd place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Nit/Hak Håndballklubb with 10-13. In the Final, Flint Tønsberg Håndball AL won over Kjelsås IL and became the winner of Slutspill A in Jenter 16 (født 2003).
